Jorge Navarro Pérez was born in 1962 in Castelldefels, where he works as a secondary school teacher. He graduated in Geography and History from the Universitat de Barcelona, and his stories have appeared in several anthologies including Quince líneas: Relatos y Noche de relatos, and literary magazines. One of them won the Federico Muelas-City of Cuenca Prize for the Short Story in 1992. As a photographer, he worked under the pseudonym Bocángel for both magazines and publishers and his work has been shown in group and individual exhibitions.
