Oscar Beltrán de Otálora (Vitoria, 1967). After studying journalism, he joined the editorial staff of the newspaper El Correo. In the nineties he began to work in the politics section of the Bilbao newspaper, reporting exclusively on terrorism by both ETA and jihadist groups. In 2018 he covered the dissolution of ETA and the hand-over of its weapons. He has lectured at seminars and university courses on journalism and terrorism. He is currently Director of Editorial Development at the Vocento media group in Madrid.
