Rafael Potti was born in Madrid. He is a a psychologist and consultant in Labour Relations and People Management. On his first trip to Egypt, he discovered, through a Coptic guide, the fascinating character of the Pharaoh Akhenaton, to whom he dedicated several years of study. In 2004 he published Moisés: en busca del dios único, a novel that tells of the life shared by Akhenaton and Moses. La rosa del Nilo is a historical novel that continues along this path. He is married and has two daughters.
